Early this year Permafrost wrote about the very clever and dedicated musician Marcin Pajak and his album Last Day. No Pajak are back with more musical snacks on his new album Last Day In Poland.
Pajak states about the new album, «The name is coming from the last album, Last Day because I have played all the songs from that album and in Poland simply because the show was in Poland».
The album is coming out in the CD version and the video on 23rd July and all the streaming will be available the next day 24th July. Last Day in Poland is fourth and also first live album.
This release is as mentioned above planned on 23th July 2021 and it was recorded in Poland Chrzanów (south Poland) on 15th May 2021. This album contains all songs from Marcin’s latest studio albums called Last Day. Amazing musicians that played on the show along with Marcin brought magical atmosphere and live energy. The Show was filmed and video from the show will be available to everyone online in the same day as the album release on 23th July 2021.
The artist says about the new album: «It is entirely devoted to my thoughts on the passing of life and its end. Each of the tracks touches on a different aspect and stage of life. Starting from the problem of pollution of our planet, through disturbed relationships with our loved ones, until the unexpectedly attacking diseases and at the end of the moment when we will have to leave the world we have known so far. Despite the difficult matters that this album touches on, it still contains many positive moments and faith in a better tomorrow».
The musician adds: «The album includes ten songs in the style of prog-rock, in which the main roles are played by guitars and drums, but there are also other instruments such as pianos, synthesizers, bongos and even a saxophone».
It’s an atmospheric album with lots of changes which take you through our lives till the end and even further.

Marcin Pająk was born on October 21, 1982 in Skarzysko-Kamienna / Poland. At the age of 17, he began his musical education at a local Yamaha school in Skarzysko-Kamienna. He played the guitar in several projects including heavy metal band Stone Heads, then in 2004 he went to London, where, together with drummer Tomasz Faustus, he founded a new project Out of Heaven. Then Marcin joined the group Schist (www.schist.co.uk), which in 2009 recorded an album entitled Tribulation.
In 2011, when Schist suspended his activities, Marcin joined the Thetragon band reactivated in London and previously known in Poland, and also began his solo project called Marcin Pajak.
Marcin’s first inspiration was the Pink Floyd band recommended to him by his older brother playing the bass guitar. With time, he also discovered new music genres, represented, among others, by bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Sepultura or Panther and many others, but it is the music of Pink Floyd and then other representatives of progressive rock (e.g. Steven Wilson, King Crimson, Opeth, Dream Theater, Riverside and Porcupine Tree) left the biggest trace in Marcin’s music.
