Life In Two Dimensions is the title track of the 2021 album from UK guitarist and vocalist Dec Burke. Its ten songs written during the 2020 lockdown period cover varied lyrical topics from materialism, loss, hope, excitement, endless advertising, amongst others. The music is powerful and guitar driven with an emphasis on catchy sing along choruses. Songs range from the complex and progressive in direction, to softer ballad tunes, to all out rock. The album features contributions from acclaimed musicians Scott Higham (drums), Kristoffer Gildenlöw (bass), Robin Z. (piano), Guilherme Aguilar (bass and cello) Reiner Siemens (bass) and Robin Armstrong (keys, bass, backing vocals). The album will be released through Gravity Dream Music on September 24th 2021.

Dec Burke was born in Limerick, Ireland, and moved to the UK in 1989. He’s most well known as the first singer and guitarist with UK prog legends, Frost* but has since released a number of solo albums as well as performing with Darwin’s Radio, Dilemma and Audioplastik. His signature style of searing guitar work and strong vocals is evident throughout his work. Life In Two Dimensions is Burke`s fourth album, as Destroy All Monsters came in 2010, and the following year came the album Paradigms & Storylines, and five years ago came Book Of Secrets.
