Velvet Starlings: L.A. based garage rock ‘n’ rollers……
Velvet Starlings - Technicolour Shakedown

Velvet Starlings release new single Technicolour Shakedown on 21st July, out on Golden Robot Records.
Recently signed to Golden Robot Records (for Australia and NZ), L.A. based garage rock ‘n’ rollers Velvet Starlings are set to release their new single Technicolor Shakedown on the 21st of July, and it will be available on all digital platforms.
Velvet Starlings recently released their first single off the label in Back Of The Train, and Technicolor Shakedown is the perfect follow up, further showcasing this highly talented act.
Technicolour Shakedown heads right down the psych-garage rock path and is the latest single and title track from the upcoming album. The track kicks off with an instantly infectious frenetic guitar riff over a Kinks style rhythm as it builds into a blast-off sing & chant along chorus, inviting the crowd to turn it up & turn it on. The song is an anthemic ode to going out into the live music experience. It colorfully describes the energy of catching your favorite band on the local scene and being packed in a venue “like sardines – and loving every minute of it!
Velvet Starlings is a 60s infused garage rock ‘n’ roll band hailing from Los Angeles and the beach cities of Southern California. They are becoming a staple in the blossoming neo psychedelic garage rock scene on the West Coast, with several tours under their belt, internationally and across the country.
The band was founded by young lead singer, guitarist & organ player Christian Gisborne who is known for his dynamic live stage performance, concert attendance record and impressive Lego collection. Velvet Starlings is rounded out by brothers, drummer Foster Poling and bassist Hudson Polling, with the new addition of long time school friend, the always stoked & awesome Ashton Minnich on second guitar.
With so much love and music to give, you won’t want to miss Velvet Starlings!
