The second album of the Austrian melodic death metal band Fearancy entitled Dæmonium was released on August 13th (Friday).
Dæmonium features 10 songs of varied melodic death, mixed and mastered by JF Dagenais (Kataklysm). But that’s not all, the first edition of the silver disc has actually been finished in time so that you can purchase the good piece for the first time and exclusively already next week around their show at the Area 53 Festival on Saturday 17 July!
The cover artwork of Dæmonium was created by Diego Gedoz de Souza, who has already worked for Hatebreed, Cypress Hill, Heathen and others.
Fearancy is an Austrian metal band formed in Hartberg (Styria) in 2014. The musical style consists of elements out of several different types of metal, including groove, thrash, melodic death and industrial metal. In March 2016, the first album Paranoia was released, followed by many gigs in different locations around Austria and even Slovenia (Metaldays).
In the beginning of 2019, the original members Ernst (vocals) and Ronny (drums) left the band due to personal reasons and Max (vocals) and Benji (drums) joined in for them. For the following 2 years, the band began writing and recording new songs together. The new style is still based on some of the original style elements, but taking a new and heavier direction to a modern form of melodic death metal.
