Elysian Fields: With gigantic array of instruments!
Elysian Fields - The Voyage of Starflight J-5

The Voyage Of Starflight J-5 is the new album from Elysian Field and the album lasts for close to 56 minutes and have only one song, an extreme long song I must admit. Mark Jeffrey Dye is the main person on the album as he plays all instruments and what a gigantic array of instruments! Truly a multi instrumentalist of big dimensions!

Elysian Fields was formed and led by Mark Jeffrey Dye in 1973. 48 years old band with a quick calculation.
In 1978 the band moved to Los Angeles and changed their name to Impulse and they released five albums on the Electric Fantasy label.
While living in Los Angeles Mark Dye became a Midi and synthesis specialist for many top artists like Van Halen, Guiffria, Gino Vannelli, and even appeared on Entertainment Tonight as a technical adviser for electronic music. He now operates a state of the art digital recording facility in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He is now retired but continues to pursue projects that he hasn’t had time for over the last 40 years. The Elysian Fields releases should be considered as part of the overall M J D discography and vice versa.
