Il Buco Del Baco: Prog Italy and Bermuda Triangle….
Il Buco Del Baco - Sotto Il Segno Della Lampreda

Il Buco Del Baco was born in 1970, founded by the drummer Carlo Mastrangeli and the flutist Furio Silvani with the name The Others with Gianni De Scalzi on bass and Gaetano Trionfanti on guitar. Later Daniele Graziani will join the Hammond organ and, eventually Fabrizio Nocenzi took over the piano.
The band goes on to describe a story about their plane disappearing as it crossed the Bermuda Triangle and eventually being found frozen inside an iceberg in 2016. They were then transferred to a military base in New Mexico where they were kept in a cryogenic state until 2017. Anyway, with the band’s first release – coming in 2021, Furio Silvani did not survive this ordeal and has been replaced by his son Saverio Silvani on the flute. Sotto Il Segno Della Lampreda is the name of the debut album.
