Finnish hard rock band Rise of Utopia just released their new single No Red Roses, taken from their upcoming album set to be released at the end of the year.
Teuvo says, «My first loves were Elvis, Ritchie Blackmore and a Finnish band Hurriganes. Guitars used: Fender Stratocaster American Deluxe, Gibson Les Paul, PRS SE Mark Holcomb, Arvo Guitars».

A wolf went by when I was playing the solo to No Red Roses. I deleted everything I had played until that and began the solo from a scratch. Maybe it doesn’t make any sense. Maybe that’s exactly how we should listen to the nature. Here the Sun sometimes never sets, sometimes it never rises. That’s the way I love it.
The songs and lyrics are written here in Finland. Jussi really gots an ear when it comes to writing melodies. Jupe gots the rhythm in his blood and soul. Just give him a bass and sit back to enjoy!
Finland is just a part of the truth.
You hear those hard rocking drums? They come from much southern, from the beautiful city of Lisbon. Every time when Alex is ready with the drum tracks there is a common agreement… Whoa! The song just became better! The track Not A Chance,
And our keyboard wizard? That magic comes from Mother Russia. Roman has opened up for bands like Helloween, Nightwish, Uriah Heep, Whitesnake…! We still miss John Lord… but on the other hand… Just listen to Roman!
It’s all about Europe? Nope! Say hello to Deibys from Venezuela! When he sings, you suddenly realize that rock’n roll is still alive and well! What a voice!
