Approximate translation of lyrics

Отпусти means Let go

Verse 1:

Let go

Don’t keep you inside

Speak the stars – the soul

I’m anxious again, yes

You fly

But is there that city of dreams

It’s not better in it, alas

Your dreams are not real

Chorus:

So important for so many years

Be needed like dawn

Without illusions and hope

How to endure this harm

Verse 2:

So empty

Thick fog hid the lighthouse

Can we end up in paradise

Through the darkness, feel the height

You fly

But is there that city of dreams

It’s not better in it, alas

Your dreams are not real

How to let go of what is no longer yours? How not to get lost in the world of illusions?

A melancholic reflection by Zakhar and Daria about how important is to face pain without trying to escape from it.

Отпусти was an attempt by musicians to go beyond the usual framework. The single was written at a distance – remotely in Bryansk and Moscow. The author of the text was Daria herself. Zakhar Zaitsev, known under the pseudonym ZKHR, was responsible for the instrumental parts and arrangement.

The infinitely melancholic and slightly meditative track is imbued with the atmosphere of autumn cold. The acoustic piano echoes the ambient sounds and seems to remind you that winter is, first of all, a state of mind. The song is created at the junction of several genres and combines shades of alternative, electronic music and the aesthetics of the new wave.

ZKHR is a sad composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound producer from Bryansk. There is no relevance to any style or direction, rather it is a mixture of the influence of classical music, punk and experimental music. Preference is always given to real instruments, not banks of sounds from the synthesizer.

Daria Loiter – songwriter, vocalist and creator of indie-neoclassical band LOAD, where she performs English-language songs in the genres of indie pop, alternative and neoclassical. Since the autumn of 2021, she decided to create her own solo project Daria Loiter, the concept of which is self-expression outside the genre framework. The main leitmotif of new project is inner state of silence, observation, openness of feelings as method of cognition, audiovisual experiment of young musician.

Slikt krydderet finner man blant annet i musikk.
