Moshi Moshi & The Moist Boys: Have big ambitions to take not only Oslo, but the whole of Norway by storm!

We at Permafrost receive almost daily inquiries from very many bands and promoters, and not everything is interesting, I must admit. Yesterday the band Moshi Moshi & The Moist Boys approached us and I was wondering what this was? Happily, the music was very interesting, fascinating and good! From the underground of Oslo’s music scene, Moshi Moshi And The Moist Boys emerged in early 2018. The band is the incarnation of what is DIY. Today the band is a six piece rock outfit based in Oslo. The track The Man,

The Oslo band Moshi Moshi And The Moist Boys will release their second release on November 10 on all streaming services via Indigoboom. In addition, the album comes physically on cassette via Backpack Records! The track Dreamchaser,

The project Moshi Moshi & The Moist Boys was started by Sebastian Grondke and Fredrik Staavi Ekern who met when they studied music production together. The band is the definition of what DIY is. They are inspired by the newer waves of garage rock and deliver good old fashioned rock. After Sebastian and Fredrik completed their studies at the University of South Wales, they returned home to Norway and released their first album Rub My Lamp. After taking a somewhat unusual route by releasing music before playing live, they were ready to gather the rest of the band.

Today Moshi Moshi And The Moist Boys consist of Sebastian (guitar, vocals), Fredrik (guitar, vocals), Jan (bass, vocals), Jørgen S (Guitar) and Jørgen Ø (drums). They played their very first concert at a sold out in June. With a new album just around the corner, Moshi Moshi And The Moist Boys have big ambitions to take not only Oslo, but the whole of Norway by storm!
