Clive Nolan & Oliver Wakeman: Keys wizards.
Clive Nolan & Oliver Wakeman - Dark Fables
Dark Fables is the last album from the creative duo Clive Nolan & Oliver Wakeman. The album contains more than 30 minutes from the abandoned album Frankenstein. That Frankenstein album was intended to join Clive Nolan & Oliver Wakeman`s album The Hound Of The Baskerville and Jabberwocky. The track The Man Called Sherlock is a song intended for Hound album that for some unknown reason didn`t fit that album.
With two key masters there are a fair amount of keyboards, but focus is on good, well written catchy songs. Another key wizard, Rick Wakeman do the narration on the song The Jabberwocky!
Dark Fables features guest performances from a lot of very skilled and talented musicians. Gordon Giltrap, Paul Manzi (The Sweet, Arena, Oliver Wakeman Band). Andy Sears (Twelfth Night), Karl Groom (Threshold), David Mark Pearce (Oliver Wakeman Band, Munroe’s Thunder) and Charlotte Dickerson.
