Nine Skies: Releases 2 live stream videos.
Nine Skies - Porcelain Hill & Wilderness

The Nine Skies released the album 5.20 in this summer, and the band is inspired by many influences: rock, pop, progressive, jazz…. Nine Skies is a progressive rock act from Nice, south of France.
The band states, «While adding our touch of melody and poetry, we hope to make you travel and dream with this new opus».
To celebrate the 6-month anniversary of their new opus and at the occasion of the 5th virtual Fusion Prog Festival edition, Nine Skies unveil two live stream videos: two tracks from the album 5.20, released the 4th of June 2021 via Anesthetize Productions.
Porcelain Hill” & ”Wilderness” – featuring Damian Wilson on vocals and Steve Hackett on the lead guitar – are played here in a personal live stream version with a charm reflecting the personal poetry of this opus to perfection.
5.20 is the third album from Nine Skies, and in 2017 came the debut album Return Home and two years later Sweetheart Grips. 5.20 offers 11 track and contribution from many skilled and even famous musicians.
Nine Skies can be labeled as a prog band, but that is not important for the French band because they focus on diversity and to express different feelings in an impressive way throughout the album. To achive this the music and lyrics correlate very, very well.
5.20 has an acoustic vibe and the string quartet sounds very god and fits the quite calm and melodic music. I also enjoy the dark atmospheres and the harmonically elements, and the lush arrangements and the music overall. A highly recommended album for those who enjoy more delicate and calm prog. On the track Wilderness Steve Hackett has a guitar solo, and as always Hackett deliver tasty guitar licks.
