The Federal Republic of Brazil is the largest state in South America, and the fifth largest in the world, both in population and area. Brazil have a large amount of musicians and large amount band, and many incredible good band. Prognoise is a very talented prog band from Brazil.

The Rondônia based outfit Prognosie were founded in 2012 with inspiration from 70s progressive rock icons such as Pink Floyd, Premiata Forneria Marconi, Eloy, King Crimson, Yes, or Jethro Tull, as a brainchild of the frontman Alessandro Amorim (bass, contrabass, acoustic guitar). Their first ep titled Esquizóide, was released in 2015, was broadcast upon the local, national public media, or some web radio stations in Brazil. With their following album Solar Prognoise has gigged not only in their nation but in US, Costa Rica or EU.

Now the band are back with event more mature, adventures and distinctive music on their sophomore album Lacrimal.
