Glass Hammer, a modern-day progressive rock band based in Tennessee, officially began in 1992 when longtime friends Steve Babb and Fred Schendel began writing and recording the Tolkienesque concept album Journey Of The Dunadan.
The real origins of the group, however, can be found as far back as the early days of the 80’s. Steve and Fred had yet to meet at that time, but were busy writing and performing with two other friends who would later become members of Glass Hammer — Walter Moore and David Carter.
In 2012, vocalist Jon Davison became the front-man for Yes while still retaining his role as the lead singer for Glass Hammer. On the new album Hannah Pryor do the vocals. On the album opener He’s Got A Girl we could clearly hear Hannah Pryor’s ethereal vocal overlays a tender piano note. The next s Steve Babb ong is Anthem To Andorath andhere kicks the heavy guitar riffs in and Steve Babb bass lines is excellent, and joined by real good drumming and vocal.
