Rise: Focusing on darker and harsher tones while maintaining an important melodic sensitivity!

La Roche-sur-Foron (French pronunciation: ​[la ʁɔʃ syʁ fɔʁɔ̃]; Arpitan: La Roche) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in Southeastern France.

The band Rise was formed in 2012 in the above mentioned city, by 4 musicians eager for metal. The band evolves much during the 2 first years and connects the lives at full power. In 2016, they released their first EP titled DrinkInk, which includes the first 4 compositions of the formation. More recently, Rise has been focusing on darker and harsher tones while maintaining an important melodic sensitivity. The full-length album Dreams Of Vision was released some weeks ago.

The band states, «We are very proud to offer you something quite different from the old album, we didn’t ask ourselves too many questions about the style we were going to do in this one, but what is certain is that the music that has touched us, whatever it is and whatever its era, is in the spotlight».
