Professor Tip Top: Retro sound and lysergic touch.

Professor Tip Top with their new album Lanes Of Time through Apollon Records on 3 December 2021.

Professor Tip Top from Bergen, Norway, is a group playing fine progressive music with a retro sound and lysergic touch, which serves a psychedelic aura .Their new album, Lanes Of Time, impressively their 7th in 10 their years existence, and  2nd with the German born singer/keyboardist Sonja Otto and last but not least arguably their best album to date.

Mostly all bands have some sources where they fetch inspiration, and Professor Tip Top digs in the first wave of UK prog band! Yes, Pink Floyd, Gong, Camel, Curved Air, Renaissance etc. The title track is a dreamy atmospheric song with a warm sound and traces of Alan Parson Projects at their best could be heard. Sam Fossbakk offers some interesting and very nice and spacy synths, and in addition the guitar sounds fantastic! A very retro song but  with the distinctiveness and trademark of Professor Tip Top .
