In Greek, Akroasis means both the hearing and the heard, and can also be interpreted as the conscious perception of music. Akroasis from Switzerland states about their new album Ilion:
«We are proud to present our debut album. Endless hours were invested and finally the CD is here! Ilion is a concept album that takes up individual episodes from the events surrounding the Trojan War and the return to home of Odysseus.»
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered during the year 2020 at Little Creek Studio by experienced sound engineer V.O. Pulver (GURD, Poltergeist).
The artwork was designed by Mayte CG in Spain. She has created a great creative work of art that makes the concept album shine in impressive splendor. Akrosis plays progressive thrash death metal, and the album is by the label Doc Gator Records.
