Livermore (formerly Livermores, Livermore Ranch, and Nottingham) is a city in Alameda County, California, United States. With a 2020 population of 87,955, Livermore is the most populous city in the Tri-Valley. It is located on the eastern edge of California’s San Francisco Bay Area. The current mayor is Bob Woerner, and the current music discovery from Livermore is the very good band Vast Conduit. Always Be There is the debut album from this California band.
This album is dedicated to the notion of doing whatever we can to build and cherish all parent/child relationships, regardless of circumstance. There are so many different ways these can suffer – death, divorce, illness, self-centeredness, etc. – yet they are so vital to everyone’s happiness and well-being. Every moment we have to support each other and make each other’s lives better is precious.
All songs written by Bill Jenkins with the following additions:
Barrier co-written with Suzanna Spring
Endless Days co-written with Doug Ott
500 Miles co-written with Betsy Walter
Through a Vast Conduit, the universe provided an opportunity for the individuals in this band, Bill Jenkins (keys), Will Jenkins (drums), Michael Harris (guitar), Jeff Plant (bass), Friel (vocals) and Jim Hurley (violin) to come together and create what they fondly refer to as smooth prog music.
Says, «Sometimes in life we stumble upon good fortune. The opportunity to create music with such amazingly talented musicians is one such fortune. It is like the universe has provided a vast conduit of talent to make music that would otherwise not be possible».
