RanestRane: Prog, frogs and napalm!

Apocalypse Now is a 1979 American epic psychological war film directed and produced by Francis Ford Coppola. This film is famous for the quote,  «I love the smell of napalm in the morning». 43 years after the film the very, very good band RanestRane release their Apocalypse Now, and this time it`s a album from these Italian band.

«Every time the darkness takes over completely blackening our divided heart “Heaven weeps the tears of God”, quoting  one of the central phrases of our latest work».

«This is our Cuore Di Tenebra (Heart Of Darkness), this is Apocalypse Now and this is what we must always and relentlessly fight!».

RanestRane (Strange Frogs) were formed in 1998. The band compose and perform original lyrics and music, blending them with short excerpts from a movie which they feature in their live performances names as a CineConcert.

The band’s keyboardist Riccardo Romano (Steve Rothery Band, The Dave Foster Band) also has solo releases.
