The Tronosonic Experience is a Norwegian band whose music is a blend of contempory jazz, jazz-fusion and progressive rock. The bands’ progressive elements increase with each release. The band offers. A powerful outing of jazz and progressive rock sounds as an exciting combination for me.The album The Shadow pt.2 is the Norwegian quartet’s third album and consist of six track with very varied length.
The music on The Shadow Vol pt. 2 is influenced by both the more experimental hard rock artists of the seventies as King Crimson and music from the jazz realm, but also influence by more modern progressive rock and heavy rock represented by bands like Clutch and Mars Volta. The band have utterly matured and taken a naturally step forward and dive deep into jazz. There are a fair amount of collective improvisation and nice soloing. The album is very dynamic with calmer moment and heavy parts, and a very successful ability to experiments is quite fascinating and intriguing.
