Tyler Kamen is a guitarist, singer, song writer, and music producer from New York, NY, and Artichoke Pythagorum is his new and ninth album. The album is a psychedelic prog rock adventure about a village of vegetable gnomes. Their garden is ravaged by dirt bugs, so they must seek out a mysterious artichoke at the edge of the forest to feast upon the solstice. This i make me smile and I want to hear more about this vegetable gnomes!
Kamen says, «When their garden is attacked by Dirt Bugs, the gnome king sends a search party to find and bring back a strange artichoke on the outskirts of the forest. The artichoke is said to grant eternal life to those who eat it. Will you help the gnomes bring it back to their village for the solstice bacchanalia? – Thank you again to everyone for your continuous support! This album was extremely fun to make and is probably my most intricate one to date. So enjoy! And Happy Earth day». I say, «Superb story!».
Kamen started to self-release albums in 2014. His music is coming with a strong progressive signature including folk and dominant psychedelic elements.
