Somehow Jo – Scales And Detalis

September 16 is a exciting day for Somehow Jo as their album Scales And Details will hit the streets that day.

Somehow Jos 1st single from the upcoming album to be released via Inverse Records. Just released Friend-video is filmed by Finnish Riivata Visuals and tells a story of a burning memory remnant of the soul and how the one cannot escape the ghosts of the past alone.

Somehow Jo have an approach regarding song writing that is rather unique as they follow no rules, they just write what they felt was the right here and now.! Rule-bending song writing and many catchy grooves and fascinating eclectic brutality. There are a fair amount of thrilling rhythms and as a contrast both clean and harsh vocal from a very good and new vocalist. The experimental sound of Somehow Jo is highly valued around the world and the band is a worthy heir of band as Alter Bridge, Mastodon and System Of A Down to name a few.

Lyrics:

𝑯eavy load freezes the breath

𝑬very step takes its toll

𝑳ungs burn and the eyes stare dead

𝑷arting into a blackhole soul

𝑰t is hitting harder every night

𝑺ee the beast inside is sleeping light

𝑶ut to get you but you don’t even mind

𝑼gliness inside dies tonight

𝑻iming is off on every step

𝑻here’s a faint taste of chrome

𝑯ead swaying down from the neck

𝑬clipsing where you belong

𝑹ight there at the brink about to fall

𝑬ven though pain rolls over you haven’t hit a wall

𝑴aybe there is more you gotta give it all

𝒀ou need to go through if you have to fucking crawl

𝑭rantic voice inside

𝑹eflection of light

𝑰nfestation like darkness too deep in the mind

𝑬ndlessly accusing/abusing me

𝑵eeds to be deflected from the rest of our kind

𝑫estroying it eternally
