Ad Meliora: With natural evolution in their songwriting!

Stockholm based alternative rockers Ad Meliora are back with their new single Lenses.

The bands explains: «This song shows the natural evolution in our songwriting and sound. Still trying to keep an easy to listen approach, the structure and the melodies are more complex and interesting adding extra color. The song is about our behavior as human beings. We see social-accepted situations which are definitely not acceptable but we choose anyway not to notice what is happening and look away. Lenses is some kind of metaphor. We see desperate situations and pretend to not care about them, we wear lenses everyday».

Although the pandemic and thanks to their overwhelming and highly energetic stage presence, the band soon won its place in the Swedish underground scene. Ad Meliora feature in their ranks experienced musicians from Spain, Italy and Canary Islands. They mix an alternative post rock sound with some groovy elements and math vibes, all wrapped up in a love for the hardcore scene from which all the members come from. Impactful, melodic, introspective, furious but beautiful with very catchy chorus, their music is new and original but keeps a familiarity that warmly welcomes you until you cannot stop listening.
