Corners Of Sanctuary: Have such a legacy attached to them.

Corners Of Sanctuary - Defying

I have no sanctuary, so corners in a sanctuary sounds strange, but the band Corners Of Sanctuary sound very good!

Corners Of Sanctuary’s Drop Def Leppard Tribute EP, Defying. Traditional American heavy metal band Corners Of Sanctuary (COS) have released their new digital Def Leppard tribute EP titled Defying.  The EP is now available via Sonic Velocity Records.  Defying includes cover versions of Mirror, Mirror, Rock Of Ages and a piano-envisioned version of the classic Leppard track, Bringing On The Heartbreak.

Defying was mastered by former Metal Blades Records engineer and producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Armored Saint).Guitarist Mick Michaels says, «When working on a project like this, there are more challenges to surmount than first considered, Songs such as the ones we had chosen to do have such a legacy attached to them…so the impact that comes from doing a cover version of your own has to essentially live up to the legacy…which, in the case of these Def Leppard songs, are legendary.

Slikt krydderet finner man blant annet i musikk.
