Voyager – Live From A Voyage Through Time

Ulf Backstrøm 2022-08-17

Lyrics Hyperventilating,

Breathe in slowly

Breathe into the air again, feel the pressure rise again

Breathe out slowly

It’s the relaxation game feel it all again

My everything is fading

I’m hyperventilating

Breathe out slowly, feel the depths around me grow me

And is it all over now? And is it just minutes now?

As you fill your lungs with soot and dust

The touch of snow and pine and wood and rust

So breathing is longing

And somehow it’s loathing me again

My everything is fading

I’m hyperventilating

My everything is fading

I’m hyperventilating

And I lose control

And I feel it grow inside

Inside our minds

So I lose control

My everything is fading

I’m hyperventilating

My everything is fading

I’m hyperventilating

Aussie proggers Hyperventilating i’s taken from their upcoming live video, A Voyage Through Time, out on Blu-ray and vinyl on August 26 via Season Of Mist.

The performance, filmed in Perth, was originally streamed in September 2021 to celebrate the anniversary of NASA’s Voyager 1 spacecraft. The setlist was chosen by their fans and spans their seven-album career so far – Hyperventilating originally appeared on 2014’s V.

The release comes just two weeks before Voyager head out to Europe where they’ll be supporting VOLA on tour in September and early October. In early July, the band teased new material in the form of the single Submarine – their most recent studio album, Colours In The Sun, was released in 2019.
