Lyrics:

Let me have another taste

Let me feel the sunshine on my face

Lucid dreams to hide within

When my reality comes crashing down on me

There’s no place where I’d rather be

The ultimate fantasy

To escape the agony of the real

I want to drown myself

In simulated pleasure

My own utopia molded into a dream

An irresistible, compelling urge to lose control

I have to give in to its call

I need

To make it through the day

I proceed

To turn and run away

Lucid dreams to hide within

When my reality comes crashing down on me

I want to drown myself

In simulated pleasure

My own utopia molded into a dream

An irresistible, compelling urge to lose control

I have to give in to

(its call)

It’s calling my name

Staking its claim

To my soul

Lucid dreams

To hide from what I feel

Lucid dreams

To run from what is real

I want to drown myself

In simulated pleasure

My own utopia molded into a dream

An irresistible compelling urge to lose control

I have to give in to

(its call)

It’s calling my name

Staking its claim

To my soul

There’s no place where I’d rather be

The ultimate fantasy

Cosmic Poetry is an interesting album title for me as I enjoy both poetry and not least cosmos. The band behind the album Cosmic Poetry is from Switzerland and they call themselves Sinverse. Cosmic Poetry is a concept album depicting a dystopian science fiction story where each song is another chapter of the same overarching plot.Zurich Airport is Switzerland’s largest and an important hub for European air traffic. Sinverse is from Zurich and are high-flying with much joy due to the debut album release!
