Arábiga: Maintain their roots but nevertheless achieve an important evolution in their current sound.

Today, we at Permafrost have started a collaboration with an Andalusian prog label 5 Lunas, and we look forward to sharing new, exciting and good music from Spanish bands that the readers and we probably wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. The first band we cover is Arábiga (Arabic) and their album Amores Y Desengaño (Love And Disappointment)

Third album by the Cordoban band Arábiga , where they manage to maintain their roots but nevertheless achieve an important evolution in their current sound. The experience manifests itself in this work and 5 Lunas bets on them because it is undoubtedly a beautiful project that guarantees the continuity of rock with roots in Andalusia.

Amores Y Desengaños tells us about the two faces of love, yin and yang. The one of the oasis of sensitivity full of tender caresses or that part that hurts. The one when you draw theirs in your eyes with a brush of dreams, or the one when you look for love and find contempt. When you throw your heart into the air and sigh in the wind or when you carry that love in your heart, but it is tied to other arms and on top of that, it takes your memories. The one when you embrace in the same melody and you get entangled in his body stopping time or when love leaves us wounds that take time to heal.

 The album comes out on CD but its presentation format is in a DVD case, the graphic design seems to have been requested and since the band and 5 Lunas wanted to do something different, we thought of this presentation. The catalog reference is 5LPCD011.
