Ruby Tuesdays: With a blistering fever of gritty instrumentation and powerful vocal arrangements.
Ruby Tuesdays – She`s Got You
Blackburn (blækbərn) is an industrial town and the administrative centre of the Blackburn with Darwen borough in Lancashire. But this town also produces an alternative rock band, and the band in question today is Ruby Tuesdays. The band have released a new single She’s Got You, out now on Golden Robot Records.
She’s Got You is a blistering fever of gritty instrumentation and powerful vocal arrangements. This track is the epitome of what makes heavy hitting rock music, a fusion of past and present influences to create a rock anthem recorded at Red City Recordings by David Radahd-Jones (Death Blooms, Jordan Allen, Boston Manor).
She’s Got You is the band’s satirical take on a typical love song, turning it on its head and dissecting the grittier aspects of relationships. Lyrically laying bare the tantalizing frustrations that can become apparent during one’s time with another and matching this feeling with impassioned instrumentation and a driving power that leaves the listener wanting more and more has resulted in some of The Ruby Tuesdays’ best work yet.
The Ruby Tuesdays are a rapidly growing force in the scene, having ripped up their hometown of Blackburn their fan base is becoming nationwide. Their debut single Who You Running From reached over 20,000 streams within the first week of its release. The band’s sophomore single Rivers Of Gold landed at no.5 on the UK’s official vinyl singles chart and debuted on ITV’s Granada Reports alongside a live performance and interview with the band. All of this done completely independently, prior to any help of a label or management.
