Gracchus: Combining the dark with the vulnerable, the serious with the playful, and the heavy with the emotional.

Gracchus - Facelift

US/Swiss Gracchus combining the old with the new, the complex with the simple and the heavy with the soft. Facelift is their new single and this is the first of three brand new singles.

Lyrics

Don’t say this

Now say this

Behave, Ms.

(Here’s a facelift)

Live in bliss

Ignorance

For the world

And all those we dismiss

(You are not alone, you are not alone)

Climbing sideways no voice and no sight

False thoughts of who’s wrong and who’s right

Just to choose the wrong knife to fistfight

Strap in kids, hold on tight

The time is now, don’t give in

Come now, don’t walk this road alone

Don’t you turn your eyes to the living

Come now, don’t fight this fight alone

You raise the fire inside of me

As my hands are stained with tears

You stand to change what nobody sees

And live to fight another day

Carve my way

‘til you cave

Misbehave

(But don’t feel safe)

I won’t be led to my grave

Walk to hell at my own pace

(You are not alone, you are not alone)

The time is now, don’t give in

Come now or never

You raise the fire inside of me

As my hands are stained with tears

You stand to change what nobody sees

And live to fight today

Live in bliss

Ignorance

I won’t be led to my grave

Live in bliss

Ignorance
