Scars Of Logic: With a a prog approach for the open minded.

Scars Of Logic with the track When Dreams Dies,

Pedro states, «Hey, We’re Scars Of Logic, a metal band from Portugal whose debut album will be released on November 15th. We have just premiered our first two singles, and would like to introduce you and many others to our project».

Such inquiries are something we at Permafrost appreciate, because it’s so nice when bands from all over the world want us to write about their music. Of course, we can’t write about everything, but we think Scars Of Logic has so much to offer that it is exciting that we cover them.

The Algarve is the southernmost region of continental Portugal and has an area of 4,997 km2. On all these km2, the band Scars Of Logic can enjoy creating fantastic music! Scars Of Logic from Algarve were formed in late 2019 with the with the goal to create their own voice, using use metal as a starting point for a unique sound, which flows in modernity but where you can have glimpses of older musical traditions.

The music is inspired in nature and the universe and revolves around powerful riffs and beautiful melodies that tell the story in each track of their debut album entitled Warehouse Of Erratic Souls. Such warehouses must be interesting to experience, but we’ll probably can`t observes this, but we enjoy ourselves with the album Warfare Of Erratic Souls!!!

For the way the band mix multiple genres, it’s hard to catalog Scars Of Logic: they have a prog approach for their open minded writing and in using less conventional song structures.

The ambitio to create an original sound started in the songwriting but didn’t end there. Warehouse Of Erratic Souls was mixed and mastered by Sebastian Has, Sound Engineer of one of the most respected bands in today’s metal scene, Behemoth – Sebastian co-produced and engineered I Loved You At Your Darkest”. Seb was brilliant in perfectly capturing the band’s essence and delivered a dynamic, punchy and bold sound.”
