Syndone: Movie prog

Mysoginia is a new release from Syndone with the new Italian movie prog on the agenda. The band is led by Nik Comoglio and  was born in 1989, during a second progressive wave. Their five albums (Spleen/1990, Inca/1992, Melapesante/2010, La Bella è La Bestia/2012 and Odysséas/2014) have over crossed the codes and the borders of the prog with new tunes.

The sound, in some ways similar to Emerson Lake & Palmer, but is not simply a rereading of the English combo, since it gives life to the spirit though new forms characterized by a rock texture that opens toward classic music, and sometimes with the presence of an orchestra.  A very expressive and sometimes theatrical voice links the whole.

Syndone tries to renew and give life to the progressive rock on the Italian and European stages staying linked to its cultural origins.
