Cyril: Caught between life and death
Cyril - The Way Through

Cyril is a project of Marek Arnold whose credits also include membership in the following bands, Toxic Smile, Seven Steps To The Green Door, and Flaming Row as well as Damanek. German band Cyril was formed in 2010 following the demise of mainstream rock band Gabria. Denis Strassburg (bass), Ralf Dietsch on guitars, Marek Arnold on keyboards) and Clemens Litschko on drums had been members of that band, and joined by Larry B. (vocals) they formed this new band. Cyril released their debut album Gone Through Years in the spring of 2013.
Second album Paralyzed came three years ago, and in this month the third album The Way Through will be released. The lyric is based on a story from Guy Manning (Damanek, UPF, Ex-The Tangent). The album is about a patient in intensive care caught between life and death.
The new album offers the complex melodies and progressive instrumental arrangements for which they have become known and has been produced and composed by Marek Arnold on keys and saxophones with Denis Strassburg on bass and Manuel Schmid on vocals and keys (Star Combo Meissen). Larry Brödel on vocal (Toxic Smile), Ralf Dietsch on guitars, Clemens Litschko on drums and other guests. Martin Schnella from Flaming Row completed the final mix.
