Monolith: Common name, nice music

Monolith is a pretty common name and there are at least 18 band with that name! “Our” Monolith is from Germany and is a death metal project with a sole musicians, Mario Welke. The new album Vermin Among Us showcases an empowering and ever impressive Mario Welke, who is in charge of all instruments and vocals on his studio project Monolith. The follow-up to the 2018 EP The Titan And The Rat sees Welke growling his lungs out while his blazing death metal guitars and pounding drums push the sound forward. It’s heavy, fierce, melodic, evil and will probably take you back to the classic melodic death metal bands you love?!
