Arctic Plant: New album released on Christmas Eve!

The band Arctic Plants delivers on their new album The Black Rider more than an hour of mostly symphonic instrumental prog! The Black Rider was actually released on Christmas eve last year! Artic Plants is the brainchild of Philipp Rexilius from Bayreuth, Germany. Bayreuth’s most famous resident is Richard Wagner, who lived here from 1872 until his death in 1883. Philipp Rexilius is hardly able to surpass Wagner, but Rexilius also composes grand and very good music.

Rexilius is a multi-instrumentalist and he handle the drums, guitars, synthesizers, piano, orchestration, soundscapes and male voice on The Black Riders. Rexilious also have done the mastering and the mixing! In addition the album have guest appearance of Antonia Lenz with female voice and Lisa Rexilius with bass guitar. Album art is by Matthias Kachelmann.
