I Modium: Pay tribute to past and present

The band I Modium is Influenced by Italian ’70s prog bands as PFM, Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso, Le Orme and Area. Their debut album L’Anno Del Contatto is a nice release by a group from Italy’s north-east region Friuli. The band from the Friulian shores, that the great love cultivated for a long time by sounds and immortal songs of historical Italian seventies bands. The band become something more than a tribute, but an act of love translated into original songs, clearly inspired by the music of the golden years of Italian rock. L’anno Del Contatto offers nine melodic track with nice rhythmic solustion and with very good guitar playing. The former Quasar Lux Symphoniae member Elvio Tavian plays guitars in an inpressive way during the whole album. Silvio Frausin handle the vocal duty, and he do an very good job.
