The music of Blut is a journey into the mind, flashes of Light and Darkness, hidden fears, hidden desires, path between the tarot cards to discover human spirituality, dreams and thirst for knowledge about Life, Death and Emotions. The track The Magician is taken from the new album Hermeneutics which soon will be released.
Singer and songwriter in the band Alessandro Schümperlin have written the new album and it is based on the eponymous book Hemeneutics. The book is set in the Turin of a newly unified Italy, Blut, an unlikely club made up of five members with peculiar characteristics – a doctor dedicated to extreme experiments, a mad scientist, an adventurer, a man with a dark past and a charming young woman – is involved in an intricate mystery imbued with occult powers, esotericism, murderers and magic. An adventure in pure steampunk style, guided by the common thread of the tarot, real protagonists of the novel, real engines of the action and at the same time active and present protagonists.
The Blut project was born as a free artistic expression by Alessandro Schümperlin, formerly Anthologies band gothic metal. The project from one man band becomes, first as a studio project, and now a true band able to blend musical styles who formally they are in fight into a kind of kaleidoscope of sounds. Blut brings original music with no gender limitations.
