Helion was born in 2012 from the idea of the guitarist/vocalist Massimiliano Cirelli, after 2 years of constant rehearsing and a huge amount of local shows, the band develops its style, proposing an hybridized mixture of technical death metal and other subgenres, including classical and folk music elements, with Massimiliano as the main composer of the material. In 2017 the band started writing new material and kept on playing live. In the early 2018 the formation took a brake due to heavily scheduled commitments both for Massimiliano Cirelli ( Hiss From The Moat, ex-Integral) and Andrea Cividini (Taste Hematic) other projects and jobs, regrouping in the second half of the year so as to attend few local shows and to finish the recording session of the new material. In 2019 the band welcome Alessandro Francesco Caruso (Despising Age, ex-Ira) as the new drummer, self-releasing a third EP called Legacy Of The Serpent during the summer and promoting it playing as an opening act for Aborted, Antropofagus, Beheaded and many others.
