Polis - Weltklang

Polis sound has an affinity for the progressive sound of the 70’s often featuring vintage instruments. Their original sound more of a kind of blusey-prog which has over time migrated to a more epic and full-fledged embrace of progressive rock. Soon the album Weltklang is released and as mentioned with a strong affinity for the sound of the seventies and in addition the instrumental megalomania. To reproduce the classic 70` sound on Weltklang Polis went to the extremes. Using Hammond B3, vintage keyboards and amplifiers and mandatory. Fundation for the new record was laid, when the rehearsal room in a defunct factory was developed into a recording studio, using wooden floor, walls and ceiling. On the technological side old GDR studios were unearthed and collected.
