The band behind Planet Babylon is the German thrash band Sucide Of Society, and the song is taken from their upcoming album War Investment. Celebrating the tenth anniversary of their live activity, War Investment may be seen as some sort of Best Of of their musical path so far, with the band delivering straightforward thrash metal of the old school, with audible roots from the German and American pioneers of this genre.
The album was recorded and produced last year at Anatoli Kalyuk’s Credge Audio Studios.
The inclined listener of War Investment must be prepare himself for almost 40 minutes full of riff thunderstorms, melodies and sing-along parts, as well as socially critical lyrics. Since the band can already look back on their tenth stage anniversary in 2020, the debut will feature the best material from their turbulent band history.
