Hunka Munka: Supported by six clever musicians!

Roberto Carlotto and Joey Mauro are the maestros in the Italia retro prog band Hunka Munka, but they are supported by six clever musicians on their new album Foreste Intestellari. The album Dedicato A Giovanna G. was released in 1972 so the new effort comes 49 year after the debut album.

Hunka Munka is the nickname for Roberto Carlotto. He had one solo recording after leaving Anonima Sound and then went on to play with I Dik Dik (along with drummer Numzio Favia who previously played with Osage Tribe). Ivan Graziani passed in 1997. He was also solo artist and alumni of Anonima Sound. That early band released a single album in 1972 and the members quickly went on their own ways.  In the early 2000s Roberto Carlotto started a collaboration with keyboardist Joey Mauro. In 2021, under the band name Hunka Munka, they released as mentioned above the album called Foreste Interstellari..
