2 real epic songs, one long song and one short song and close to an hour with music on De Rosssi E Bordini self-titled album. In addition the listener could listen to odd tempo and 70s original timbres and much keys.

The band is formed in 2007 by keyboard player Gianluca De Rossi (Taproban) and drummer Carlo Bordini (Rustichelli e Bordini, Cherry Five-Goblin), to take part, as De Rossi & Bordini, in Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy tribute projects, promoted by Colossus Magazine and produced by Musea Records. The two tracks they put together are Pozzo dei Giganti, inspired to the Pit of the Giants, as described on Inferno (Canto XXXI), and Dentro la Cerchia Antica (Canto XV) for Paradiso album.

Their purpose is to continue the path started by Paolo Rustichelli and Carlo Bordini in 1973 on their Opera Prima album. This artistic cooperation has been so positive and stimulating that, some years later, on the initiative of Black Widow Records, Cherry Five are reformed, with the original singer Antonio Tartarini, Pino Sallusti on bass and Ludovico Piccinini on guitars.

In 2015 the group recorded the album Il Pozzo dei Giganti that obtains positive responses both from the public and the critics. After Pino Sallusti’s death on march 2017, in November De Rossi and Bordini come back together to play live some Cherry Five, Taproban and Rustichelli And Bordini tracks, and to compose and record a new album that will be recognized as Opera Prima legitimate heir. After two live performances in Rome, at the Progressive Free Festival, on 26 September 2018 and 25 September 2019.

In November they enter in the studio to record their first album that will be completed only in November 2020. The arrival of the pandemic has blocked the further performances of the group and postponed the publication of the album for the Maracash Records label to the beginning of 2022.
