WalzWerk: With musical interpretation of the current geopolitical challenges of humanity.

WalzWerk – Mensch Friss

WalzWerk says, «New single & video Mensch Friss released on 15.07.2022. Our musical interpretation of the current geopolitical challenges of humanity. We don’t get enough and end up eating not only the earth, but ourselves».

Lyrics:

Water no longer runs down into the valley,

the sea of death and agony seems almost endless,

for all the creatures that perish,

on the debris of our being.

The realisation works just as long,

as long you can make money with it.

All the greed for things that ́s not needed,

destroys the basis of our being.

Mensch frisst – Mensch frisst – Mensch frisst – Mensch frisst Mensch

Mensch frisst – Mensch frisst – Mensch frisst – Mensch frisst Mensch

The world has enough fever.

Man, a parasite she created.

He sucks her dry and robs her.

And eats himself at the end.

Erreichung der Unumkehrbarkeit in 5 … 4 …

Mensch frisst – Mensch frisst – Mensch frisst – Mensch frisst Mensch

Man eats – Man eats – Man eats – Man eats world

You like just as much as I do

Pictures in blue and flowers in red.

That which is really there,

if we just look each other in the eye.

You like just as much as I do

Pictures in blue and flowers in red.

That which is really there,

If only, if only we…

In 2019, Greta Thunberg gave a now world-famous speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos. This speech was the initial spark for Mensch Frisst (man eats). Through unbridled use of resources, excessive consumption and waste, we rob ourselves of our future and future generations of the basis of life. Mensch Frisst shows the effects of our exploitation and the beauty that is worth fighting for. The world is on fire. But maybe there’s still time to turn things around.
